Sunny Sands Tent #2
Scam
The experience was the worst of my life. This place is a complete scam. The whole place is filthy and unkept. It looks nothing like what was advertised in the photo. I had to file a police report, as I hope no one else should ever be subject to such living conditions. It is unsafe and completely deserted. Pool, hot tub, bathrooms completely unusable, no running water, tents do not close and are not set up upon arrival.

Our group had a great time. We enjoyed the communal areas. The tents were great and had a comfortable bed. We enjoyed using the pool during the day and the Hot tub at night while looking at the stars.

Fun glamping experience
Great glamping experience. Beds were comfortable and the tents were stylishly decorated. Kitchen and restrooms are walking distance. Fun communal lounge space and pool.

There’s a special energy around Sunny Sands. You can feel the care and time spent that’s been put into every little detail - ensuring you have a comfortable and luxurious experience. Everything feels authentic. The Moroccan tent, communal lounge area, feels exactly like you’ve been transported to Morocco. David, the host, is such a sweet soul and will make sure you’re comfortable during your stay.
Each glamping tent is in immaculate condition upon your arrival - complete with perfectly placed towels for you to use for the showers. Each tent comes with its own propane heater to provide warmth on those chilly desert nights. There are authentic Moroccan rugs lining the tent floors and little lanterns that add to the ambiance.
I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a unique experience in the Joshua Tree area. This is also an amazing spot for hosting small events…I’m already considering having my birthday here haha.
