After booking this trip I was skeptical because the hip-camp site was new to the Cuyama Oaks Ranch and I wasn't sure if the place would be up to snuff.....OH HOW WRONG I WAS. We decided to book the small campsite out in the field with the views of both mountains. Waking up to the birds chirping and the full bloom was breathtaking. The site came with a cover for shade and a picnic table/ trash/ recycling/ a charcoal grill/ a fire ring and easy access to water. They are currently building more outhouses so we were able to use the outhouse meant for the larger site and it came with a hot shower! We brought our own propane and enjoyed the mountain views while showering outdoors!!!! It was heaven ! Nate and Ricky were very hospitable and their ranch dogs Griffin and Ruca and the ranch pig Basil were awesome hosts! The stars were insane at night and I will come back here with a larger group in the future. Great for big partys and events. Thank you for letting us stay guys ! Had a great time.

Very cute camp set up. Each site has its own gazebo with solar lights and own restroom. I loved the motion sensor lights in the restroom. The host was very nice and even offered firewood available for purchase. Beautiful property

We love Cuyama Oaks Ranch! Everything was incredible: the vast land with rolling green hills, the hiking trails, the campsite & of course the host, Nate. Nate was helpful & friendly. I 100% recommend this place & can’t wait to visit, again. 😊

Beautiful campsite & got a rainbow too. Fun trails for beginner & advanced hikers. The horse neighbors greeted us in the morning.

Gorgeous spot! Nathan was easy to communicate with and took fantastic care of us, including sunset visits with Basil the pig. Sawdust outhouse was super. Also, loved all of the little touches - hanging plants, hand sanitizer, string lights, etc. Highly recommend!

Great warm site on an expansive ranch. Nate showed up on an ATV with a warm friendly smile and made us feel at home immediately. There were thoughtful details through the site like starter firewood in the pit, and extra hand sanitizer on the picnic table. Solar lights and string lights gave the site a cozy feel. Would love to stay again!

Absolutely incredibly views, plenty of trails and activities during the day. The attention to detail really made our stay special, from the hanging plants by our picnic table to the automatic light that came on when I needed to use the outhouse late at night lol. Nate and Ricky were the most gracious of hosts and we could not have had a better weekend!!!!!
