Grand View
10/10 loved the Grand View!
Looved this campsite!! We camped 1st week of April and it was so beautiful! I think with the more frequent rains everything was in BLOOM.
Getting there - just a heads up for those 2WDs!!! once u turn off of the main road to the road into the property it does get a bit bumpy and u have to cross a dry creek and go up about a 200ft dirt road to get atop the mesa, but we were able to do it just fine! And we saw that the hosts maintain the road and flaten down the roads to make it nice and smooth
Views - we stayed at the Grand View site 10/10!! The sunsets were dreamy. And it does feel like you get a 360 view! So beautiful.
Privacy - at the site it felt like we had soo much space to ourselves and had a great amount of privacy, but also didn't feel like we were completely secluded with neighboring campsite a little ways away.
Bugs - honestly, not as many bugs as I was expecting! It's nature so u cant expect them to be nonexistent when camping lol. We also saw a giant moth at night which was beautiful! Soo bugs are there, just not a whole swarm of them when we were there.
Site - great site, there was plenty of areas to put your tent all having a great view. It had a picnic table, 2 comfy chairs, a fireplace, and a large trash bin!
Bathroom - the outhouse closest to our site was very well maintained and always clean! It is a little bit of a walk but nothing crazy!
Overall, for being new to the camping thing we absolutely love this site and will be coming backk!!

Amazing host! Spectacular sunset and secluded campsite ... who could ask for anything more
Site 3 - Songdog West Campsites.
This was one of the most beautiful campsites I’ve ever stayed at. The views were stunning and it was so well maintained and we had so much privacy.
The only issue I had was the giant Trump sign at the main house. Everyone has a right to their political opinions but as a black Latina woman with lots of lgbtq community I felt uncomfortable staying someplace that supports a politician that has been openly racist, sexist, homophobic, and anti-immigrant rights. Nevertheless, the host were super kind and welcoming and politics never came up. In the end we t was nice to have a positive interaction with people who probably have different views than me but it felt important to mention.

Draw Camp in the Far West
Fields of Flowers!🌼🪻
We had an amazing time camping at Draw Camp for three days! Thank you Jim, Jenny, and Carol for sharing your beautiful land.
All I can say is.... Beautiful fields of yellow and purple flowers... Dark skies with endless stars... Isolation from the crowds.
We used Google maps to get to the ranch address and followed the given directions to our site. We stopped by the main house to pick up some firewood ($1 per log) and tinder and fuel for free. We got a bit lost but it was nice because we got to see the other sites.
Draw Camp was up the road, at the end of the mesa... All by itself, which we preferred. We set up our tent across a small bridge by a field of yellow flowers with amazing views.
All and all... It was an amazing stay with beautiful views during the day and at night. Would definitely come back again. 🥰

Songdog Double Fire
Jen and Jim were very accommodating! Has significant rain on the forecast so couldn’t get onto the west campsites so they let us use the other one! Been here before and glad to see this place thriving. Always recommended
