180 degree view of the Sierras, looking north, east, and west. Oak meadows, ponderosa, and digger pine forest, with rock outcroppings. 15 minutes from Angels Camp Market. Summers are dry and hot, however, with an outdoor bathtub and shower, cooling off is no problem.

One of the highlights here is hiking to a special knoll with rock benches, looking out at the sierras, as far as the eye can see. Spring time is the most magical, as waves of wildflowers keep blossoming, until the heat of summer slows them down. And the forest is green and lush with Buckeye Blossoms. Bird watching is wonderful, as well as other wildlife.

As your host, my intention is to be helpful, to your needs. I live here year round, I teach guitar, woodworking, and do gardening and yoga. I built my 30 foot Octagon home, with help from my friends.
