Description

Santa Rosa is the second largest island in all of California and features a high mountain range amazing wildlife, and the incredible Painted Cave, a large western sea cave. You can do some backcountry camping here as well as stay at the Water Canyon campground. Lucky for you, there is running water and bathrooms! It can be pretty windy here, but the white beaches, crazy canyons, and scenic hikes more than make up for it.

Is anyone willing to let a party of two set up their small tent for one night on August 2? We have reservations for the following nights, but misread the ferry schedule and are not covered for Sunday night. We would not be in the way or need access to the wooden shed. Per regulations, 5 people can be at a campsite at a time. Let us know if you willing to share. It would save our trip! Thank you!
