Within a 30-minute drive from the Black Rock Nature Center.
I inherited this land from my Mother. She passed away in the early 90's and I built a new house here along with my sister who lives nearby. Learn more about this land: 5 minute drive to Pioneertown and the famous Pappy and Harriet's restaurant. 20 minute hike to the gorgeous Rimrocks and the hidden gem of Garth's land. 20 minute drive to the Joshua Tree state park. 28 miles off-road drive to Big Bear.

Great place to be under the stars.
Amazing place to stay! Easy to set up and close to a bunch of stuff. Everyone, including in the surrounding neighborhood, is so friendly!

Camp Mimi
Our Desert Oasis!
We spent 2 weeks here and didn’t want to leave and we can’t wait to come back. Here is a few reasons why: • Beautiful waking trails on the property • Incredible mountain views with elite sunsets, Joshua Trees, boulder formations, high desert landscape • Quail, coyotes, hummingbirds and lizards are in abundance • Quiet and dark nights. Daytime was quiet too with occasional traffic heading to Big Bear mountain and very little air traffic • Miles of neighborhood walking which is only residential and full of nice folks • We cannot say enough good things about the host Tina who lives on the property. She was a very generous and friendly host who was always available when needed, but when not needed we felt we were there all alone. • The scenic 20m drive to Yucca Valley for the typical chains and 25m drive to Joshua Tree where there isn’t a chain in sight—all local fare • 30m walk or 10 drive to Garth’s Boulders, full of great hiking and great humans • 35m drive to Joshua Tree National Park West Entrance Hipcampers should know… • Partial hookups are removed from camping spots. We used 100ft hose and 125ft electrical cable • When not on the trail the grounds have glass and nails • At night coyotes came into camp and can be dangerous for pets • Internet was challenging. AT&T service (not enough to stream) and very unreliable T-Mobile (using our top of the line signal booster pole). Verizon was not available • Easy to find, big space to maneuver larger rigs. We loved it here!!!
