Beautiful area but the lot had three other hip campers close by, was close to the road, and didn’t really have views or much place to walk around. We were driving a 24ft RV and it was a little hairy getting up the driveway after the gate as well. Anything smaller or with better than our sub-average clearance is totally fine though.
We arrived late Thursday night, so 2 of the 3 sites were taken. The site we took (by shipping container) still had a nice view of the mountains and flat ground for our tent. One site had phenomenal views and privacy, that made us wish we arrived earlier. Kelly let us know there would be other parties there, which was great for us to set expectations. The land is beautiful and has convenient access to Shasta Lake via Hirz Bay. We practiced leave no trace to keep our impact minimal.
