Nestled in the redwoods, come enjoy some peace and quiet at our family escape located on 3 acres in beautiful Cazadero. The land has been in the family for 3 generations and the cabin was built by Grandpa! The open space around our cabin offers plentiful area for pitching your tents or drive-up vehicle camping.  Eagle's Landing is nestled in a meadow between the apple trees and located to the right of the cabin.  This site offers a bit more privacy. Just look for the wooden Eagle statue!  This site has it's own water spigot and hose just a few steps away.. We've also placed a composting toilet in an area shielded from the site's view. Unfortunately at the moment we can't allow fires in the visible fire pit due to the high fire risk. Take a short hike up the hill on our old fire road or spend a lazy day gazing up at the redwoods and deer!  Or come back and rest after a day of adventures at any of the great spots located near the property.  Please also help yourself to an apple or some blackberries.

Buck's Canyon is located across from beautiful Austin Creek, 3 miles from the Russian River, and 9 miles from Jenner and Goat Rock beaches (as well as many others). Don't miss the delicious pastries, food, and drinks offered at Gold Coast Coffee and Bakery located in historic Duncan Mills, or venture to Jenner and enjoy super healthy fare at Cafe Aquatica.  On Fridays, (summer only) enjoy pizza and live music under the redwoods at Raymond's Bakery.  Check out historic Cazadero at the end of the highway and follow King's Ridge Road thru the beautiful canyons to bring you back up to Highway 1 and Fort Ross. Since we do visit our cabin when we have time off from our busy lives we may cross paths during your visit but we will do our best to ensure not to bother our guests. Or come say Hello!

HEADS UP:  Our property does not provide access to Austin Creek, in addition, please be mindful of trip hazards, poison oak, ticks, and mosquitoes...and respect our QUIET hours (10p-8a), thank you!!

We were able to reserve day-of, and Rachal was very communicative with quick response time even though it was pretty late when we were reserving. The pictures of the grounds were accurate and the horseshoe site was very spacious. We we're very happy that we were accommodated fast and with no problems. The experience was delightful.

This was a wonderful campsite in the Russian River area!

The site itself is large. It's close to the road but still offers privacy and is quiet (it's not really a busy road). Up from the site was a communal sitting area with a picnic table. Just up from that was the compostable toilet.

There is a water spiget just feet away from the sight that was wonderful to have access to.

The site was next to the host's house and on the other side of the house was the other camping site. Between camping sites, they were far enough away that there wasn't noise leak.

At this site you're about 10-15 min away from Monte Rio Beach which is free and allows dogs. You're probably a 30 minute drive away from Guernville.

I love this area and this site was incredible, along with the very detailed hosts!
