We absolutely LOVED Bubbling Wells and it exceeded our expectations in every way. Right from the start I was super impressed with the professionalism and the timely responses I got to any questions I had, and this was prior to our arrival! Danielle, the property manager, send us a welcome letter immediately upon booking, which was very helpful. The directions were perfect and entry was easy. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member when we arrived and shown around the property, which was instantly more than what we’d hoped for. All the staff at the resort were friendly and welcoming at all times. It was an extremely hot weekend (118°) so other guests stayed in their air conditioned villas while we had the entire place to ourselves! Haha :) We were the only brave souls who camped. The bathroom and shower were well-stocked, very clean. It was clear that someone had put a ton of time and creativity into every detail of the resort. The whole setup of the resort made you feel like you were on a movie set and had been transported to a completely different time. It was really magical.

Our absolute favorite part was the community area (The “town.” We had a blast hanging by the pond, in the seating area near the “bar,” and lounging on the deck. The misters were set up perfectly to cool us, even during the hottest parts of the day. It was lit up beautifully at night and the music was perfect. Our group had an epic weekend and we all feel exactly the same- we can’t wait to go back!

This spot was absolutely amazing in every way. The tent camping area is enormous with tons of trees that provide medium shade all day, with really nice hammocks strung between them for peaceful desert naps.

The property itself is built around a gorgeous natural spring (it's a little green lake/pond with frogs and turtles) and they built a crystal clear water hot tub from the hot spring. Comes out at 106 degrees. It was perfect as the night got a little cooler.

There is a little mock town they built so it feels like you are hanging out in an old western movie set. There are other campers/guests sharing this downtown area, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Last night we were one of 3 groups..never in a position where we had to share space with any of them. Lots of games to play. This area is about a 5-min walk from the tent camping area which is pretty genius because the sound doesnt travel that far. The camping area is dead silent and peaceful with some winds whipping through here and there.

Overall this spot exceeded our expectations so much that it was a constant topic of conversation. We were impressed by the cleverness of the design, the kindness of our host, and the landscape that they have created. It is a masterpiece, and we will be back soon!

Hot tub💥We swam in the green natural spring. It's a little earthy but our skin felt incredible after. It's also the perfect refreshing temperature in hot desertDowntown Yerxa townTent camping area

This camp WAY exceeded our expectations and I definitely recommend it! The host is very communicative and prompt with responding and was extremely welcoming when we met her. Upon arrival of the "Bubbling Wells Ranch" gates we were already blown away by all of the neat artsy details just driving in! The host met us at the "Yerxa Town" intersection (we just followed the cute signs to get there). She showed us where to park and guided us to our campsite while giving us a little tour. We were really lucky because we were one of the first (and only) campers to stay here and were placed on a site right next to the "town". The canopy tent they had prepared for us was HUGE and could easily fit 6 grown people if we wanted, maybe more had it not been for the slight slant of the site. It was clean and breathable which helped a bit in the desert heat. The communal area (which was basically our own for the whole day) had a little outdoor living room, saloon area with a mini fridge where we stored some food and drinks (but it isn't a big space so bring your own coolers and ice too), a bathroom with soap and towels, and a shower. It lit up at night time and we used our own lanterns just to get around. We brought our own propane grill but we didn't need additional canopies or chairs as there was plenty of shade and seating in the little town and by the watering hole.

We brought our own floaties for the watering hole and sat in the fill and drain spa in the evening which took only a few minutes to fill and was SO warm. We practiced yoga in the morning on the deck overlooking the water and went for a walking tour around the property. We had such a great time taking advantage of all of the amenities available here.

The only issues we experienced were desert wind smacking our tent (but hey, that's just mother nature) and were thankful that they had provided such a strong and durable tent and had tethered it securely for us, and then some visitors near our campsite from the airbnb on the property in the Yerxa Town (but everyone was respectful, so no big, and it really is meant to be a shared space). In the late evening hours somewhere down the road we could hear what sounded like vehicles racing and occasional fireworks going on well past 1am so that was a bit of a nuisance for the desert quietness we had hoped for but still..... that does not take away from the AMAZING experience we had overall on this property which I can only imagine will get even better over time! There's so much to it..we definitely wish we had booked two days and can't wait for the spa services to open.
