Jim and Phyllis are lovely, thoughtful hosts. Their home is in a quiet and sunny location adjacent to Los Padres Forest land. The cabin has everything you need to unwind and enjoy the quiet or a great conversation with your traveling companions. The dirt road to the cabin is indeed "rough" but beautiful, and Phyllis has a glass of wine waiting for you! You are tucked far enough away from city lights to enjoy a night sky full if stars. We used it as a base camp for a creative writing project and found it to be just perfect!
