THIS IS NOT GLAMPING. PLEASE READ THE LISTING IN FULL AND SHARE IT WITH ANY GUESTS YOU ARE BRINGING TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTMENT OR MISUNDERSTANDINGS! We have RV hookups on the hill overlooking the valley facing west. This includes water, electric (30 amps) and sewer. If you don't have a 30amp connector please be aware that we don't have a convertor so you will want to bring one. This site is not for tent camping. If you want a site for tent camping please look at my other listings under Bierbaum Pepper Farm. This spot is not comfortable for tent campers.

There is no shade at the site but there is plenty of shade in the common areas. The hookups and the site are next to our garage. However, the garage blocks the view to the house and there is plenty of privacy. Beautiful sunsets and we are less than 15 minutes from wine country in Temecula!

I'm told that depending where your sewage tank is, you will need up to a 20' hose to reach the sewage dump. Please be aware of that if your tank is in the middle of your vehicle/trailer instead of at the end of it.

Find us on Facebook or our website to see events happening in the area. Just search for Bierbaum Pepper Farm.

We are not a commercial farm. This is closer to a homestead, run by two people who have full time jobs that pay the bills. We don't have staff or workers. Everything is done by us. We have about 40 trees on the property, the majority of which are California Pepper Trees, or pink peppercorn. We are not a commercial hot pepper grower. We don't sell produce to campers. You can hear my roosters crow in the morning (and at night, roosters have no respect for quiet time). Our Nigerian Dwarf Goats beg for treats and attention. You are welcome to play with the baby goats and chicks (when we have them) when we show you around. I have treats you can give the goats and get pictures with them. We also have our rabbit, Buckly. You are welcome to hold him with supervision.

If the roosters are going to bug you please bring earplugs! They will start crowing at 3am. This is a farm with all the pleasant sounds and smells of a farm. We can't switch off the animals like you can switch off your TV.

We also have new neighbors and typically around sunset you will get to hear one of their children practice the trumpet and have band practice with the trumpet and drums. They are very dedicated but band practice only lasts 1-2 hours. We love to support hobbies like this in the local youth!... Yes, we wish we could turn it off too but it's better than death metal.

You can purchase Organic Farm Fresh eggs that we sell $6/dozen.

We also have firewood, ice, charcoal and other items if you forget these. We are 25 minutes away from any stores.

It is so quiet you can hear the crows wings flapping as they fly by. You will see field mice, rabbits, squirrels, road runners, small lizards and other desert animals. This does include the occasional snake.

We are less than 15 minutes away from Temecula Wine Country with over 50 wineries in the area. We can tell you which are dog friendly as we go to those often.

Lake Skinner and French Valley Preserve are 15 minutes away.

Diamond Valley Lake is 30 minutes away and is a great hike to see desert wild flowers. It is famous for the Super Bloom that you could see from space! I highly suggest you Google it.

We have portable fire pits that you can take back to your campsite IF there is no wind and IF there are no local fire bans in effect. There is a charcoal BBQ grill in the common area that is available. Bring your own charcoal or purchase a bag from us. DO NOT use firewood in the charcoal grill.

We have a common area/garden where you can sit with a beer or watch the sunrise with coffee. We also have a drinking/water fountain and charging station for phones in the common area. WiFi is available in the common area but does not extend to the campsites or the RV spot.

KEEP IN MIND that the price reflects the amenities here. We are in wine country and charging $49/night. A room out here is no less than $200/night in the off season (average cost is $350). This is for the camper that doesn't need or want amenities. It's undeveloped land. You can explore the property as you want. 11 acres is a lot room to roam around in. You are the only RV and you are not 10 feet away from the next RV. We are happy to share this with you and your fur babies. We limit the number of sites so you can enjoy the property in peace and solitude without being shoulder to shoulder with other campers.

We also have a solar shower! The temperature of the water depends on how much sun we get that day so early morning showers will be colder. Check the temperature of the water before stepping under because it can get very hot! Also realize the hot water is limited (about 7 minutes) and it will take a couple hours before it will heat up again between showers.

If you bring friends, make sure you give them the link to the listing so they know what to expect! This isn't glamping and if you sell it to them like it is then they will be disappointed, you will have a bad trip when they whine about it and it's not fair to us if they leave a bad review because they expected glamping when we are very straight forward about the amenities and what we offer.

David and Marcella were the most gracious hosts! They shared their precious brand new baby goats with us and even let us watch them ultrasound the expecting momma goat that had not yet birthed. They let our 14 year old fly his drone all over their property, and were so kind to us! It rained our entire trip, but the views out our RV window and our time together made it very memorable. I hope we can come back when the sun is out! This little valley is bursting with little micro farms and you can hear and see all kinds of small livestock from the ridge! Stay here! You won’t regret it!!

We had (2) groups camping here (4-adults, 3-kids & 1-toddler) and we really enjoyed our stay. Marcella is an EXCELLENT host and the location had everything we needed. RV site is next to home/garage but in no way felt watched over at all, still felt like we had privacy and hosts were on site if we needed them and did not loom around. Although we were in an RV and travel trailer we were happy with the availability of a dish washing station, hot tub, portable fire pit and charcoal grill for use. My 3 year old son loved giving the goats treats, petting the bunny & swinging on the hammocks! Sunsets were beautiful too! Definitely would stay here again.

We had a great experience at Bierbaum Pepper Farms. Super easy drive and the directions were spot on. Our host, Marcella and David were so helpful in every possible way. They go our of their way to make sure you have everything you need and more. Their site is a lovely 11 acre spread were we could watch the sun rise and set each day. It is quiet and very relaxing. The chickens and goats really add to the experience and the fresh eggs they sell are fabulous! I am looking forward to our return trip when some goat cheese and pepper spread may be available! Thanks again Marcella, you are a fantastic HIPCAMP host!

The hook up are on the side of the detached garage, we had a view of the sunrise and sunset as well as the goats and chickens. Our spot was private and quiet. Very relaxing.Beautiful sunrise.
You can see our fellow tent hip campers up on the hill. The sunsets were amazing!Meet Vanilla Bean, she is one sweet goat!

The hosts were great and met us upon arrival to show us around the property.
They have chickens on the property so we had delicious fresh eggs in the morning.
Would recommend staying here!

Very nice spot for camping with an RV or tent. Multuple sites so will invite our friends to come with next time. The hosts are nice and there if you need anything- even dog sitting if you want to go out to dinner or tour something. The RV site had water, sewer, electricity and Wifi. The kids loved the goats, chickens, solar shower, hot tub and just running around. We will def come back and wine tour some too at the local wineries

Our rig set up with a nice view Nice morning fog overlooking the goats from the RV spotGoat smiles 😁Camel nearby at Sugarplum Farms

Hello fellow hipcampers, Bierbaum Pepper Farm is an amazing place to stay. Very peaceful and when the stars align the sunset is amazing. We stayed there with a 31ft 5th wheel trailer. Full hookups at one spot for trailers. Super close to our favorite winery’s. The hosts are extremely nice and they communicate very well. I cannot wait to come back again.

Marcella and her husband were both very kind, friendly and informative. They have us great ideas of things in the area to go so during the day. We ended up wine tasting in Temecula. The property was meticulously clean and well taken care of. Our kids loved playing the with goats and we loved having our fire pit with a view and incredible sunset.
