Pitch a tent or park your RV between the endless rows of almost 100 year old apple trees surrounded by oak tree covered hills. Enjoy the sounds of birds, the leaves in the breeze, or the frogs, crickets and owls at night. There is zero light pollution in our canyon so it's a star gazers dream when it gets dark out. No wood fires but propane fire pits and grills are totally welcome. We have a seasonal apple stand that has a plethora of goodies to sample or purchase which is a fun little bonus when you stay with us anywhere from September 1st through the end of November. We also hold weddings in our gorgeous gardens during Spring, Summer and Fall. If we don't have a private event going on you may feel free to grab a blanket, picnic basket or a book and spend a few hours lying on the grass in our gardens. Our canyon has a microclimate of its own so almost every day except a handful of days in the winter the weather is absolutely perfect. There is a quaint winery 30 seconds down the road from us with a great selection of wines and a flock of peacocks roaming around. We're about a 5 minute drive to the nearest beach (which happens to be our favorite in the area) with plenty of options for food and recreational activities. You are also a quick 10 minute drive to the best town in the nation, (Oprah said it not us) San Luis Obispo! We hope to see soon!

This is one of the best HipCamps we've stayed at! The weather was perfect and the location was in close proximity to Morro Bay (~25 mins), SLO (~10 mins) and Avila Beach (~5 mins). Jeremiah (Paul's son) made sure to make us feel super welcome. He had fresh eggs, honey, and apple cider waiting for us when we arrived along with a map of the property. He also got us set up with a propane fire pit since they don't allow wood fires. We loved checking the garden, the chickens, and the litter of kittens they happen to have during our stay. There were a couple other groups camping, but they were spread out enough that we still had our privacy. You can tell their family is super passionate about their land, the farm and love sharing it with new people. We'll defiantly be back! Thanks Jeremiah and family for a lovely stay!
Beautiful property and the nicest hosts! The Kenny family were all really sweet and showed us their beautiful place. They even gave us some fruits right from the tree and honey from their own beehive.
We stopped here on the way down the coast with our family which was last minute. We were coming from Big Sur and had no reception and used wifi for a quick book. Paul left good directions for when I was back online. The property is pretty special and has one of the most beautiful garden lawns I've ever seen. We were there for a very short stint but our children, 5 and 3 really enjoyed it. The area and land around the orchard was pretty special and I was very surprised being that I had never been in the area previously. I would highly recommend the stay. Thanks Kenny Family!
What a magical place. We had a wonderful time camping in the apple orchard and walking through the amazing property. The family were all so friendly and helpful. I am so happy to have found this place. It is a treasure. Highlight for the boys were that they happened to have kittens at the time:) It was just a beautiful property and close to so much in the central coast. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
This hip campsite was awesome! What a magical place. The Kenny family were warm and welcoming and you can feel the love that has gone into their property. Such a beautiful spot in the canyon. Quiet and so cool to camp in an old Apple Grove! So close to everything! We will be back!
