Enjoy views of the mountains, the lake, the goat barn, and a really big sky from our 2013 Airstream Bambi. Great, private spot for hiking, bird watching, and exploring native plants on our private 70 acres at 5200ft elevation in the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument. 13 miles to Wrightwood.

The 2013 Airstream Bambi is small but well appointed, modern and cozy. The main bed is just shy of a full size. The dinette also folds down into a single bed. Heating and A/C are provided. The kitchenette includes 2 propane burners, sink, fridge, and microwave. The bathroom in the Airstream is a wet bath and provides a hot shower. There is a TV in the bedroom of the Airstream and an adapter is provided to watch content from your iPhone or iPad. The Airstream includes a nice deck that's large enough for sunbathing or yoga (bring your mat!) and faces the sun in the morning. Towels, sheets, pillows, basic cooking and eating tools are provided. Also a nice selection of books for both adults and children to browse related to the area, native plants, wild animals, goats, etc. Guests can bring their own food or purchase products from the ranch.

Guests have access to the full 70 acre ranch and adjacent forest service lands for hiking, picnicking, birdwatching, etc with the exception of the area immediately surrounding the private residence of the host., which is marked on the trails.

Guests are welcome to join us during morning and evening chores in the barn including feeding and milking. If you'd like to learn to milk a goat, we recommend at least a 2 night stay, since we sometimes skip a day. We will also provide advice on hiking trails on the property, and instructions on taking out the canoe on the lake (seasonal!).

Our little family had a great time staying in this airstream on the goat farm! My son loved picking up the baby goats and hiking around the grounds. It was private enough for us but we also felt like we could mingle if we wanted to. The host was very accommodating and very approachable to talk with and ask questions. We will definitely be back!

My wife, daughter and I rented the Bambi Airstream this weekend and had no idea what to expect. As it turned out, the accommodations were awesome and exactly as advertised. The hosts were helpful, but not in your face. On Sunday morning when it was time to leave my car didn't start. I called my hosts for help and they were there in less than 15 minutes to give me a jump.
Loved the goats, loved Katie the pig, loved their beautiful dogs.
I look forward to going back.

We had a great time in Gloria’s Bambi Airstream! It’s so snug and cozy, making it the perfect place to relax and rest before the crazy holidays. Gloria and Christian were so friendly. We loved chatting with them and learning about the goats and other animals on their farm.

It was amazing to be out there with the goats and dogs! Gloria even let one of us attempt to milk one of the goats. In the morning we were able to walk around the property with the goats and it was the truly so fun and cool to see them climb trees and munch around.

The airstream had heating so we stayed warm all night. Gloria provided extra blankets and utensils for us. She was also responsive with all of our questions leading up the trip. Make sure to read through all the information so you can come prepared. A few tips for new airstreamers:
- Be conscious of the waste your create and nring a trash bag as you’ll need to take all trash home with you.
- Bring lots of water!! Gloria mentioned that we needed to drink 2X as much water due to the elevation.
- The portapotty is a short walk down from the airstream. Fine during the day, but a dark and very cold journey in the middle of the night. Try to use it before it gets dark.
- While it can sleep 4, it’s probably ideal for 2 adults if you plan on cooking, hanging out, etc. It was definitely very very cozy for 4 adults. We ran out of water in the airstream after a day and couldn’t wash our hands or use the shower by morning so plan ahead.

I can’t wait to come back to hang out with the sweetest dogs and goats again!

Definitely a cool place to stay! If you want to find a peaceful place to stay then this is the place. You woke up with seeing goats looking at you outside of trailer~~ what a lovely experience :-) And the host is nice and helpful too. After we texted the water level was yellow she came right away. One thing not sure is hot water. Overall, it's very interesting experience!
