Absolutely beautiful property, a bit of confusion upon arrival, but other than that it exceeded our expectations and was a great place to camp for a night with beautiful views and welcoming hosts
Angela's land was a good place to spend an evening. It's clean, firewood and pit was provided, and a compostable toilet is on site (BYO TP). Angela sent clear directions the day before arrival.
Across the street is a nice Ecological Reserve where you can do a fun hike and we didn't see a single person there.
Note there's no cell service in the area, so be sure to jot down the location and directions before heading out there.
The property is beautiful. I camped with my hammock near the orchard, and had a terrific night despite the rain. The hosts helped me track down some dry firewood, and I got to see a group of black-tailed deer grazing throughout the evening & next morning. I will certainly come back again.
We will come back to enjoy more.
It was raining and sometimes very heavy during the night. It was an interesting experience, it was wet and cold. We really enjoyed the experience. Steve came, brought dry firewood and helped us to start a fire for us. It kept us warm and we used it to heat our food. Even during the drizzling rain, the fire was strong, some times when a gust of wind camp it really whipped up the flame. It made us appreciate the power of fires of these woods. I wouldn’t want to have it if it’s in the middle of the summer or fall.
It was a sunny day the next day. We had a great walk in Ecological Reserve across the road on the sand trail.
