My second time staying here and I can't say enough about the hospitality of both the Land and the People here. It's truly a magical place that never disappoints.

Staff and volunteers were amazing. The road up is brutal. We took our Sprinter van and barely made it. Recommend 4wd. Do not recommend RVs.

Great place for all types of camping, from tenting to RVing. The hosts there are friendly and accommodating. The views are incredible. The ranch's history is fascinating. We stayed in the teepee and it was perfect for 2 humans and 1 dog. We'd love to return and stay in one of the safari tents during the winter or spring. Summer can get hot, dry, and buggy. Bring a folding table and extra folding chairs. The dirt road up is about 5 miles and is windy and rough. Go slow in a regular car or bring a 4x4.

Great camping spot to get away for the weekend! My husband and I enjoyed the peacefulness of the area and the view from the top is amazing. Our hosts made us feel at home and the additional HipCamp tents spread across the site made it feel like we were in summer camp.

Getting to the camp itself was an adventure itself, but just make sure you drive slowly due to the road being really rough. Also, watch out for all the Yellow Jackets flying around the site. Bring LOTS of bug spray.
