This stay requires you to go up a windy road to the middle of no where. U will be rewarded with serenity, a sunset that stretches to the ocean and a starry sky. The host was incredible, the space was impeccably clean and the bugs don’t get to u if you build a fire and wear repellent. I will be coming back for sure!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Harrison Serenity Ranch. The site was spacious and we felt save there. They had some great accommodations such as chairs, table, firewood, shovel etc. The staff was super friendly and answered all of our questions leading up to the trip. Additionally, it's easy to take the dirt road up to the State park and get some hiking in. One note for future guests, there are a lot of bugs here. Flies and mosquitos especially. Not in their control of course, but make sure to bring the gear to defend yourself :). Overall would totally recommend.
Easy check in process with accurate directions. As mentioned in other reviews, the ranch is at the end of a 4-mile dirt road drive up a mountain. Stressful, but you will be rewarded with spectacular views from certain vantage points of the ranch. The Skipper tent was centrally located with the pros (easy access to different parts of the ranch) and cons (not quite as private as we had hoped) inherent in that central spot. Lots of flies but they were dissuaded with bug spray. Overall a very pleasant stay!
