This ridge-top 120 acres has been developed by me over the last 40 years to be a Wilderness Retreat and Self-Sufficient homestead. While spending 20 years of my life as a wilderness ranger in the mountains of Humboldt & Trinity Counties, I spent my time off looking for the 'Perfect' piece of ground to develope my own piece of 'heaven on earth'. This property is it !

    A Redwood Wilderness Chalet
    Staying at the Redwood Wilderness Chalet was a great experience! Although it takes a bit of effort to get to the property, it is well worth it. The property has stunning views, and if you are looking for peace and quiet, look no further. Doug was a great host and stays at the chalet during the visit to answer any questions and provide insight into the property. This Chalet has a deep history and has been visited by many, it was a blast learning this. I'd love to come back and visit in the winter! Thanks, Doug!
