This is a cabin, occasionally refered to as a treehouse but it sits on the ground. We are on a hill with views of the lake. It’s VERY RUSTIC I refer to it as glamping (even though it has 4 walls and indoor plumbing) It was built in 1929 and very little updates have been made. Paint on the floors from a painter that lived here in the 70’s, unfinished wood, antique appliances, the outdoor does come in if you leave doors open. The breeze is great so I recommend you do. Just close at night for the critters. There will be spiders and anything else that can squeeze through the cracks. We are covid crazy so we clean like demons but that’s not going to stop a bit of dust and wildlife.) This place is truly a cabin, no insulation, all wood. But it’s sanitized!! A lot! That said, we have strict check out procedures. You must agree and follow because of covid: Wash and put away all dishes Pack it in, pack it out... all good and trash goes with you. This is a private home so there are personal belongings here, please do not take those. Put used sheets and towels in the wash. Use the provided sanitizing wipes to wipe the place down on your way out. (Counters, door handles etc., the more the merrier so we don’t get your germies) 1 bed, 1 bath. Deck, full kitchen, full bath, living room, tv with Netflix, a den for reading, a bed outdoor to sleep under the stars, a deck, a patio, front yard with plants and wildlife. Children: please note, the property is not safe for children between the age of “can crawl” to around 5 years old. This depends on your child but it is not child proof and there is a very high deck. So, unless your child can take direction and always listens to it, please choose another location. Thank you
