Sudden Valley Ranch is a peaceful paradise. This is a family farm - 138 acres with 1.5 miles of creek (the depth of the creek depends on Mother Nature - but you can typically find a swimming hole year round). There are woods, hills, ridges and open pastures/hay fields; we sit in a large valley with beautiful views. We have horses, chickens, 2 farm dogs and barn cats. We have a large seasonal garden. You may see wild life - deer, turkey, rabbits, hawks, eagles and raccoons.

We offer 3 rustic tent campsites that are separate and private from our home and each other. You may easily walk or drive to the campsites. Each campsite has a private outhouse, and a fire ring with an ample supply of wood. You have access to fresh well water through a spigot. We have a four-man tent available for a fee. Ticks are a concern during the month of June - you may want to bring bug spray.

Warrenton is located about 30 miles north of Washington, Missouri. Washington is a quaint town located on the Missouri River with several wineries in the surrounding area. We are also about 24 miles north of Marthasville where you can ride the Katy Trail. Hermann, Missouri is 34 miles southwest of us - another quaint town whose seven wineries produce about one-third of the state's wine. Big Joel's Safari and Long Row Lavender farm are both located in Wright City less than 10 miles away.

Come and relax, read a book, draw/sketch/paint, or simply let the sounds of nature lull you to sleep. We believe you will leave rejuvenated!

There is absolutely no hunting during your stay and we ask that you keep your music to a light volume.
