Privacy!  Scenery! And the extraordinary Cadron Creek!  Due to requests to totally "get away from it all" we again welcome guests to come enjoy our  campground perched on the bluffs overlookiing Cadron Creek with nary another soul in sight.   There are several campsites on the property but no more than 2-3 guests are allowed on site at any time -- in fact, we usually limit it to one single party.  It is that special!!  It is quiet!  And it is jaw-dropping beautiful!Sparky, a stone mason who quarried, cut and stacked every rock on every trail within the campground, has created a wondrous place to come camp and explore.  We are now in the process of restoring Sparky's homestead on the creek complete with chicken house, outdoor kitchen and shower and  two-hole outhouse.   The first three campsites include 1) Deer Stand Rock and 2) Piney Hideaway.  The campsite at Deer Stand Rock (50 foot walk-in) is literally perched atop a rock pinnacle -- great views but a long fall, be careful.  If a sleep walker we recommend camping atop the bluff just up the hill (and closer to your car) and simply visiting Deer Stand Rock to catch the views of the river and wildlife in morning and night,  Piney Hideaway is just that -- a campsite hidden from view in the stand of a large grove of pine trees.  Trails lead to the creek (100 yards) from the campsite to allow for easy access swimming, fishing and paddling.  We'll be offering more info and pictures soon but wanted to get this posted if anyone wants a place far removed from everyone else for the Labor Day weekend.
