The Hole in the Wall NWA is initially offering primitive camping with amenities such a communal fire ring at the mouth of the cave and porta-potties.  Sorry, but we don't offer hookups at this time and there is no water on the property. Please note that the cave is sometimes blocked off for private events.

Check out "More Listings at Hole in the Wall" on the right side of this page to book one of our other tent campsites options without a platform, or to rent out the cave itself for an extra special overnight camping experience or small soiree.

If you'd like to buy-out the entire 12-acre property or have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to Hole in the Wall NWA directly - just Google and you'll find our website with direct contact information.

Property Description:

This cave and 12 acres is remembered fondly by Bella Vista locals.  Used in the 1930’s by farmers for hay storage, later for fiddling and square dancing, visited secretly by lovers and mischief makers, and offered up as a sanctuary for wildlife, this piece of Bella Vista history is now available for all to enjoy. While this camping destination feels a world away, we're just 18 minutes away from Downtown Bentonville's many breweries, restaurants, trails, special events, and the fabulous Crystal Bridges museum. And 14 minutes from the nearest grocery store.

Located near the southern tip of Lake Windsor in Bella Vista, AR, The Hole in the Wall NWA is a space for mountain bikers, locals, families, and groups to step out of the rat race, step back in time, and connect with nature, friends, family, and community. As avid outdoor folk and mountain bikers ourselves, we're happy to help you plan a perfect trip in the area.

We're excited to share that starting October 2019, this property will be a stone's throw from the Pontoon Park Trailhead of the Bella Vista "Eleven Under" 50-mile mountain biking loop expansion. In the meantime, we're  10-20 minutes from the best of what Oz Trails has to offer today in Northwest Arkansas, including the Back 40, Blowing Springs, Coler, Slaughter Pen and more.

The Hole in the Wall NWA is initially offering primitive camping with amenities such as tent platforms, fire rings, and porta-potties available. Our start on amenities and accommodations is rustic, but we’ve got plenty more exciting options planned for the future, including tiny cabins, live music, local fare and more. Check out our website for a sneak peak of what we're up to next. Y’all come back now, y’hear?

This was such an awesome, convenient location. You definitely feel secluded even though you’re only 10 minutes from town. The hosts were great and had an awesome little welcome package - such a thoughtful touch. The portapotties were clean and convenient. And the cave was SO COOL. Such a cool vibe and we will definitely be back!

This place is truly a hidden jem. Very convenient location compared to most decent camping spots in NWA. The raised tent platforms are a great ammenity, and the cave is spectacular. Definitely going back soon.

Brought my girls, 13 and 10, to the party at the cave event. I saw the event on FB and decided to book a platform site. We had so much fun! And the hosts were awesome! Got there a day before the event and they were just super friendly and helpful. The cave party the next night was great! The location is perfect if you are gonna be in the area for bike riding as well. Close to all the trails and fun stuff bentonville has to offer. It’s perfect for convenient camping close to town, but far enough away.

My group of 3 had a great time camping on a Friday night. We were able to fit a 3 person tent and a 2 person tent on a platform and there was room for maybe 1 more 2 person if we squeezed. Enjoyed the large sized fire rings. Only improvement I would suggest would be that any future platforms be spaced a bit further apart. We felt like we were bothering our neighbors who went to bed a bit earlier though they didn't say anything to us.

The platform tent was great for our dinners since we slept in our van. It’s nestled in trees but the full moon lit our whole area.. No one else was camping there so clearly private. Host was really helpful and directions are clear. It’s a great location about 15 min from Bentonville and 10 from nearest service. Definitely would recommend.

Close to a lot of different mountain bike trails and not in town. Accessible, secluded, and minimalistic.

Good in general basic tent camping. NOT AN RV PARK!! Great. Downside. You can here traffic from road not terrible but not remote. I did not use platform as it was wooded and in a low wet area. Much happier to just be in the grass on high ground. I always go on high ground and in open in hopes to avoid bugs. I will be back. Fly's became nuisance as it had rained. In dry season I bet it’s best. great to do biking excursions drove off to other parks to get road biking in Rogers.

Very happy.

Hope they pull weeds and grow a lawn but it’s RV free.

It was very quiet when I stayed as it was early season, and other campgrounds were full. I appreciated the chance to stay and will come again if I’m in the area. Well maintained grounds and friendly referral, so thanks!

We enjoyed our stay, but this is not a site for everyone. Because of the overgrown field and the location of the platforms, the site was really buggy. We had a nice stay though. Carrying in water was no big deal and it was convenient to have access to a port-a-John. The platform was really comfortable and a nice size- large enough for our 4-person tent, cooler, 3 camp chairs, and a few random packs and such. The fireflies are a site to see!!! Just stunning! We didn’t meet a host in person but all communications leading up to our stay were friendly, personable, and helpful.

It was a welcome place to chill out for a bit (literally). It was humid and 90 degrees when we set up camp.
