This is a sacred place, off-grid, off the beaten path, full of lush scenery and sure to delight the senses. We have preserved the land and lived minimally and simply while enjoying wildlife encounters, ceremonies, and unique experiences that only afford few people in life. The reason? Many might not take the time to drive on the rugged terrain to reach such a remote and beautiful place.  All-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive vehicles are recommended.

Yoga and meditation retreats are held on the property, and we invite you to experience the rich and abundant natural landscape.

We just got back from our trip and we couldn’t have had a better time! The host couple were warm and helpful. The sites are on their land which is very isolated on the top of a beautiful mountain. Their off grid living system is as spectacular as the views! There is plenty of hiking and creek play on the top of the mountain but there is also beautiful creeks large enough to float at the bottom and of course the Buffalo river just down the other side of the mountain. We brought our 3 little kids with us and we all had a wonderful time and felt extremely safe the whole time!

There are some BIG fish to catch in the pond! Our dog loved swimming in the pond while we gathered around the 🔥 Now this... “where time stands still” is not a hike for the faint of heart but is pretty spectacular if you can get there! Buffalo river swimming at the bottom of the mountain

I love Gianella and John! What absolutely lovely people. Their place is gorgeous and secluded, yet close to the Buffalo River, Richland Creek, national forest land, mountain biking trails...it's a little paradise. My dog certainly was in heaven! I left feeling rejuvenated and truly encouraged by John and Gianella's grit, sense of hope, and dreams for their place. I hope to be back soon!

We had a lovely weekend as a couple with our dog here! So much to do and great hosts! We walked to the bluff, paddle boarded in the river, hung out by the fire and had beers with the hosts. It was a great getaway. They even gave us veggies on our way out of town from their massive garden!

Wonderful stay! The scenery couldn’t be beat- off the grid, quiet, gorgeous views, private land. John and Gianella were such kind hosts. They can tell you about the hiking on the land, history, and are so fun to talk to. Next time we want to bring our finishing poles and want to see more of the land! Highly recommend.
