Enjoy the rural lake lifestyle with a full hookup site; 30A 120V RV, water, and septic This open and flat meadow is nearly surrounded by trees, has a nice view of the pond, and offers two trails to the lake. It is large enough to comfortably accommodate up to eight people, with plenty of room to spread out. This site is perfect to use as base camp and explore the many nearby attractions, or just hang out and saunter down the hill to the lake...or both! It's also a great site for the boating and fishing enthusiast.
This site is about 300 feet from the road and about 200 feet from my house. There are lots of trees to block out the view and help reduce sound, but please be aware that this is not a good site for those seeking complete silence. While the area is rural and road traffic practically disappears at night, weekdays will begin early morning. At 9:30 a.m. you will likely hear my 3 roosters crow a time or two, but they rarely crow throughout the day. When I have guests, I put the roosters into a special room at night and will wait awhile before I let them begin their free-ranging day . They are a very shy flock of 3 roosters and 12 hens, and remain by the house throughout the day.
Other random noises can be expected, such as a dog or two barking in the distance, a boat motoring along the lake, and of course wildlife noises such as crow, owl, fox, and hawk. Most of the homes in this area are rarely visited cabins and none are visible from this entire 6 acre area. But close proximity to the lake and pond attracts abundant critter life, so there is always something making noise. Some noises are the ones nature lovers enjoy, like tree frogs and birds, but some are the ones you might be trying to escape from. It just depends on what you are used to and even the purpose of your stay. If you walk downhill to the forest trails, the dense buffer of trees and terrain nearly eliminates all human-related noises.

Great stay, great site, great host!
What a great site, it’s huge area. Nice view of the pond. Is actually recessed in a little valley. Super quiet and being in that valley knocks down and wind or sound! Would definitely stay again. Water hook up and dump at the site!! I couldn’t believe that. Nice shower and bathroom in the main house. With private entrance. Very nice a little hidden gem! We will be back! We stayed 7 days and wished we had more!
We really enjoyed our stay. Being able to walk to the lake was wonderful after a long hot day! We were surprised at how loud the traffic from the road was however it quieted down at night and we didn't notice it at all while sleeping.
Awesome and secluded
Awesome location. Host very hospitable. We set up tent in the field next to campfire, close to read, can hear road noise, but didnt bother us and their is further areas to camp back nesr the water and quieter. Also, walking distance to a primitive native american camp and to lake greeson with beautidul sunset views. We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints. Def thought it was a better option than a crowded campground. Recommend 100%
