Felt like family here
Had an awesome time at this cool little hippie ranch, we had a choice of places to park our camper depending on how much privacy we were looking for. We stayed up front which was easy in/out and had water hookup and 15 amp electric (with a long extension cord)
The camp hosts bent over backwards to make sure that we had everything we needed and they are actively working to upgrade and add even more amazing features.
The grounds were fun to explore with the kids and mostly fenced so our dog could explore with us (Their dogs were roaming and friendly as well) Definitely a fun, open, communal vibe here and amazing views of the stars at night.
We'll definitely be back!
Our kids want to live here now!
Wow! This was my 1st time using Hipcamp and glad I did. Where to start, when you enter the desert property you have no visibility as to how expansive the property is beyond that point. We brought our Camper and were met by “Whitewolf” aka Steven the land owner who respectfully social distanced as he directed us to our spot. It was spacious with water and 15 amp electric. Once settled the host Taylor and Dora gave a socially distanced tour of all of the magical spots that makes this hippy feel.location seem special and unique . 15 acres to explore and create, very kid friendly and pet friendly in the sense that our kids had art tools all throughout the property to “add to the imagery”. To name a few precious spots, a WW2 observatory that is filled with art supplies. When you come upon it you can see artwork inside and out from previous visitors, they said that we could add to the art piece and our girls were thrilled. The hosts are amazing and are truly excited for visitors to experience all that the property offers. There is a sauna, outdoor communal shower, tons of vibrant gardens, a large circular clubhouse that has a full kitchen. A newly created meditational pond which offered a sense of relaxation and shade under a large 30 year pine tree. The sound of the trickling water against the desert landscape created the perfect balance. There is also a large indoor pool that will be available when the weather permits. I’m sure I’m missing spots because it was sensory overload in the best way possible but if you appreciate unique experiences with a lot of personality this is a true gem. Whitewolf, Taylor and Dora went above and beyond as hosts and we will definitely be back. Thank you for having us in a time when fresh air and a spot that gets the creative juices flowing is much appreciated.
A unique camping experience!!!!
This was my first time staying at the WhiteWolf Gardens. And it was amazing!!! The host Taylor was incredible, making sure that we had everything that we could need. We forgot a couple of things and she was so kind in making sure that we she provided what we were needing. We took our 3 small children and she interacted with them with such ease. In saying the camp is kid friendly and our children had a great time. We stayed at the Dream Stream campsite and it was beautiful. The site had a pond that our kids could play in and was surrounded by gardens. It was close to all the amenities, i.e. the sauna, enclosed pool, shower, and community kitchen. By far an amazing time and we will be back and will recommend to everyone of our friends. Thank you Taylor!!!
An authentic relaxing getaway
My family and I came to stay for a night with our small dog. Overall we had a good time, the camp host was extremely welcoming and helpful! She came out to meet us and direct us to the site and explained where everything was. Extra things were provided such as lights for the site and a few dishes and a hotplate which made the experience a lot easier for us. Unfortunately I think we came during the middle of renovating because the stream didnt really have water and the pool area wasnt available for use due to being refilled and cleaned out. Overall it was a good camping experience , we just didnt really get to partake in any of the extra provided amenities.
Beautiful, fun, and interesting
This is just plain cool. Built on the site of a former hippie commune, Gramps (the owner of the land) and his family has put a lot of heart into building this campsite. There's plenty of room to socialize, but privacy was not an issue. The aquaducts and swimming pool were terrific in the heat of summer. Some cows and rabbits paid us a visit while we sat around the fire. The bathroom and hand washing station were clean and easy to access from this campsite. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a dose of authentic hippie history, art, peace, and comfort (but not in the "glamping" way).
The best vibes
Stephen and Taylor went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcome on their beautiful land! Amazing hippie history and you can feel it in the good vibes. The dream stream is an oasis! And the sound of the stream is so peaceful and meditative. This is a great place to enjoy nature, meditate, and overall explore! There are tons of little artsy gems on the property and it’s improving to be an amazing community daily :) I WILL definitely be back.
Its all love here!
What a phenomenal piece of property and even better hosts! We showed up late and were still greeted with a smile. If you like unique spots and unique people this is the place for you! The hospitality is unparalleled. Thanks White Wolf! I hope to see you soon!
