High desert (elevation 4,300), 4 flat acres, endless views of the Huachuca Mountains to the west and the Dragoon/Mule Mountains to the east -- at night the lights of Naco, Sonora, Mexico twinkle to the south.

Close by: hiking (all the way to just under 10,000 feet, if you like!), Ramsey Canyon (hiking and birding), Arizona Folklore Preserve (local cowboy entertainment), Fort Huachuca (home of the Buffalo Soldier), Tombstone (The Town Too Tough To Die!), Bisbee (Copper Queen Mine, lots of local arts and food), Kartchner Caverns, Coronado National Monument/Montezuma's Pass, Elgin/Sonoita wineries, and a day trip can land you in the magnificent Chiracahua Mountains.

Drink in the amazing sunrises/sunsets, moonrises, too, endless stargazing (no street lights out here), and during monsoon, there is NOTHING like the smell of the rain on the desert.

As a master gardener and silversmith, I can teach greenhouse and gardening skills, and jewelry beading techniques. Here on our little hobby farm, we attempt to be as close to self-sustaining as possible by growing a good portion of our food, canning, dehydrating and fresh eggs from the chickens! We take what we make to the Sierra Vista Farmers Market -- check us out on Facebook "The Greenhouse Trolley Hobby Farm."

Our stay at Deborah and Dave’s Green Trolley Hobby Farm exceeded our expectations in every way. They have everything covered from water, electric, washer and dryer, picnic table and a secure dog fence around their whole property.
Perfect location in a peaceful, private, rural setting. Within 30 minutes drive you can explore Bisbee, Tombstone, Coronado National Monument, Sierra Vista and so much more.
Deborah and Dave are some of the most interesting, thoughtful and generous humans we have met along our journey. We can’t wait to return!!

Our pup, Buddy, wanting to help Dave anyway he can!Gorgeous views in every direction. Plenty of space to spread out, cook and enjoy being outside.

So easy to become fast friends with Wendi and Amy, and their gang of loving critters. Our time was very enjoyable. We certainly hope to see them again!

Debra and Dave have a little fantasy farm going on: metalwork garage, gated 4 acres, lovingly designed raised beds, views in every direction, lots of hike options, birds and friendly dog to wake you up, laundry and full hookup. I was able to explore, work (two bars on AT&T plus occasional access to a local network), and drop in on D&D to see what they were up to as they puttered about. Their love for live and their land were inspiring. Highly recommend.

Deborah made me feel extremely comfortable after a long day of driving. The facilities are immaculate. Couldn’t have asked for a better site.
