If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
If you're headed to the Grand Canyon, checking out Williams, or just passing through the area - STAY HERE!
First off, we made the last minute decision to stay near Williams and Barbara was very responsive and wonderfully accommodating with very little advance notice. When we arrived to the Retro Camper (super easy to get too), it was all set up for us and both Barbara and her husband were very welcoming, even inviting us to look around - beautiful property, and check out the darts and bar area in the garage.
We made the trip to the Grand Canyon for the day, then did dinner in Williams before returning and spending the evening relaxing by the campfire. The bed in the camper was very comfortable (the table-bed less so but that was to be expected for a camper) and the Camper itself was impeccably clean. The shower and bathroom in the camper were clean and accessible (although tight) and there was also a pretty spacious outhouse outside that was one of the cleanest outhouses I've ever seen.
We were met with more hospitality in the morning when we were served coffee and got to meet the pups.
Overall, this was a slice of paradise for us - much better than staying in a hotel - and we were all sad we only had one night there. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely be back. Thank you!
First of many more...
I can only say that everything was more than what my boys and I needed. I booked the camper and headed to Temple Ranch we got there using the directions Barbara provided and got there around 5 the boys (3,7) were very excited because it was their first time camping. Barb and Dave were so welcoming and such great hosts. Barbara made sure to ask if I had any questions and just made us feel like we were at home. The boys enjoyed nature, getting on the tractor, getting fresh eggs from the chicken, the goats and playing with them. We went for a walk in the forest and enjoyed every moment. Thank you, Barbara and Dave, for the hospitality and amazing time! The boys and I will be coming back in October! Thank you!
