Cozy cabin in kaibab national fores
Barbara and her husband were spectacular hosts! I messaged Barbara about the rental with a few questions and she responded right away making it very easy for us as we had to book for a last minute trip. They met us at our arrival after we spent the day at the Grand Canyon. (They are just about an hour away from the park!) we were even greeted with a nice and toasty bonfire to sit out and star gaze. The cabin was heated, neat, so comfortable and cute! We told Barbara that we wanted to make the most of the the next day and she offered to have coffee ready for us bright and early in the morning (which she did!) their property is located in Kaibab National Forest. There is plenty to do in and around the property. They took us for an off-road ride on the mountain and lent us a sled. They also have horses, chickens and dogs on the property. We had a chance to pet the horses and play with the dogs. Barbara and her husband also gave us many recommendations on what to see and do in the area. Only wish we had more time to see them all! We had such a fun time staying with them and will certainly be back! Highly recommend booking this space!
Temple ranch is a must stay!
Temple Ranch was a 5 star stay! Barbara and her husband were incredibly gracious and kind hosts. My friend and I stayed in the larger space they have on the property and it was beyond cozy. With a kitchen, cute bathroom and super comfy bed, it was the best place to stay after a long day at the Grand Canyon. We also hung out by the fire pit they have outside.
The next morning we were offered coffee and a tour of the Ranch. We got to meet their three adorable dogs, several chickens and 6 gorgeous horses. They took our experience up a notch by inviting us to drive their Can-Am jeep along a path in the forest. Their property backs up onto the Kaibab National Forest. This was such a trip.
If you are ever in the area, check out the Ranch for an unexpected adventure!
