Sanctuary at Sonoita Creek was created as a place to enjoy the unique treasures of Patagonia, AZ. We wanted to provide a haven for people who value the outdoors to gather and take advantage of the recreational aspects of the area and also be walking distance to town. Our property was once a trailer court. We've done a huge renovation to provide RV spaces, a vintage trailer rental and tent camping.

Truly a Sanctuary!

We loved staying here! The location was amazing… a short walk to a hummingbird sanctuary and several great day hikes. So many birds! Also a quick walk to dining and groceries. The whole area was well maintained, the bathroom was nice and clean, and my husband enjoyed the outside shower. Melanie was very accommodating regarding our check out time, making it possible for us to complete a passage of the AZT before leaving. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed the community feeling of this HipCamp with 5 closely spaced sites located in a residential neighbor on the desert’s edge yet walking distance to town. All our needs were met. Walking distance to the Hummingbird Center too.

Enjoyed my stay at Anna at Sanctuary at Sonoita Creek. Nice location walking distance to town. Quiet and peaceful. Loved having laundry facilities on sight. Large site with parking space for my toad. Would definitely stay again.

A mixed bag

It's a mixed bag. It is in a nice location in Patagonia, near the hummingbird center and a nice nature reserve. Good trails for short hikes. Great for birders. But the RV park was kinda junky and cramped. The RV sites are surrounded closely by old trailers that are now rented out. It was quiet when we were there, but it is so small that it could get noisy if there were groups there, which Hip camp encourages. It's ok for a short stay.
