Love the art, love views, love the feel :) highly recommend!
The host, Richard, is full of advice for the beautiful green valley. Also, he has a land full of Arts installations and the cutest (big) dogs and (smaller) goats. Had a wonderful time at his artsy hangout!
Richard was so friendly and welcoming. I had the best one night stay at his place and would recommend. The place was exactly as described.
Richard was great!
Super cool guy with some pretty great art and a BIG vision. He needs some more art-minded people up there to help make it even better!!
The site needed a bit of TLC, and wasn't as kid friendly as we needed (4 & 6 y.o.), but we loved seeing the goats, ducks, and dogs! The woods to the river was an AMAZING adventure for us, but we just weren't prepared LOL
Getting to town and exploring wasn't too far of a drive and we were able to enjoy the surrounding area easily. The artist / musician / hippy side of me wanted to move in!!
If you want an artsy adventure, this is a REALLY cool spot that is unlike ANY other campground or RV park.

Artistic, burning man feel with plenty of shade. Great host and animals.
Ok, so I loved this place! Lots of art, projects going on, animals around (wildlife, domesticated, and semi-domesticated), big dogs to love on, friendly and helpful host and campers.... It was great! But I'm a maker, burner, builder, and ruffian of sorts. :) It may not be for everyone. If you like your life a little creative, a little rough around the edges, a little challenging, a little adventurous, then you'll likely dig it. If Motel 6 is your version of that, then maybe not.
Overall we loved staying there, but it’s not for everyone. It’s a very peaceful homestead, with lots of friendly ducks, goats, turkeys, AMAZING dogs, and Richard was very helpful and accommodating. For us who are used to backpacking in the middle of nowhere, it was easy to relax. If you’re used to a busy RV park with facilities, this just isn’t that type of place.
The host was kind and helpful. Nice friendly dogs.
What a fun and whimsical space.
We are burners, so this space felt right at home for us.
If you are not expecting a little bit of wild, you might not vibe with this place.
If however you are looking for a fun and loud place to relax under the shade of countless trees, this place will satisfy.
Richard was a very warm and comfortable host , for sure.
