I stayed here for a week in the beautiful South Mountain area of Phoenix - it was hot in the city, but coming here you are able to stay in a comfy camper with A/C which is surrounded by a few mesquite trees and an orchard. There is a shaded outdoor kitchen and picnic table under the trees. It is peaceful out here, aesthetically beautiful and really relaxing to be able to hang out in the little yard, cook outside, shower outside and there is also a cute little outdoor bathroom.
Notes on the shower and the bathroom: They are outdoors, but they private, with a roof overhead, curtains, and just a bit of open breeze ways in the architectural design for air to flow through. You will still have your privacy - be aware though, that this is shared between the Hipcampers who will stay in the camper and who ever is staying in the other unit or set up with a tent. When we were here, we only saw a couple other friendly people during our stay and of course the super kind man who takes care of it! He rode up on his golf cart and gave us fun stories of the history of the area and some tales of his life as the town banker.
You don't have to go to the grocery store during your stay - walk down to the Farm Stand operation at the front of the property and there is a fridge full of veggies, fruits, baked goods, eggs and honey - also an honor box for you to pay, so bring cash. It was all delicious and so nice not having to go to the grocery store during our stay here. Also, the outdoor kitchen is equipped with a little camping stove and propane - you will have to bring your own iron skillet or pans and cooking oil / utensils!
The Groovy Terry Trailer was everything we expected and more! The location is absolutely wonderful and no picture depicts how amazing the farm is. The AC in the trailer was a miracle saver in the 110 degrees! The decor was absolutely adorable and there was so much space!! The bed was extremely comfortable and you felt safe being out in the field. Also, it was great being able to use the outdoor stove to cook our food and there was a convinent store located right near by and the farm had a farm stand with AMAZING veggies!! I would definitely recommend this to friends and I would 100% stay here again.
This place was a nice little escape for being in Phoenix in the heat of July. The farm land felt welcoming and it was refreshing to be out of the main city. The trailer itself was super cute and the decor inside was well thought out. The bed is super huge and comfy which is a plus!
Fantastic experience. Looking forward to our next trip there already.
Peaceful with scenic Mountain views. Lots of stars visible in the sky.
This was a great spot! It has the perfect balance of camping/adventure while also providing plenty of privacy and relaxation. The bed was really big and extremely comfortable.
The camp site was a ten minute drive from South Mountain which has great hiking trails (Holbert trail to Dobbins Overlook was a great one) and a 15 minute drive from downtown Phoenix where there are great restaurants.

I lovedit there. The trailer itself was adorable. They had a fire ring, picnic table, even a camp stove. They even had a private little shower. I can’t wait to go back❤️

Beautiful property. My husband and I really enjoyed our time there.

A great little retreat outside of the city. Trailer was comfortable and area surrounding was equipped with everything you need. Loved sitting under the tree surrounded by farm life and mountains. Limited WiFi access back in trailer so be prepared. Bonus was the farm stand up in front stocked with greens, veggies and freshly baked goods. Would definitely stay here again.
