Hipcamper Brianna

Staying here was a great experience. There was a great view and our hosts were extremely hospitable. I would undoubtedly recommend this place to friends!

Hipcamper Ruth

Boot Mesa was incredibly special and unbelievably beautiful. Highly recommend. Just make sure to pay attention when Mark drives you out to the sight. It's not easy to find your way back to the main road!

Hipcamper Miles

If you're looking for the best stargazing in the desert. Look no further.

Hipcamper Andrea

My friends and I agree that Boot Mesa was the coolest campground we've seen. Mark led us into our camping spot and we enjoyed the remoteness of it. The stars were unlike anything we had ever seen, and we all decided to wake up early and watch the sunrise from the mesa. I highly recommend staying here, and I also sent one of my friends here right after we stayed there.

Hipcamper Diego

Boot Mesa was amazing! The solitude next to a gorgeous and imposing monolith was an unforgettable experience. Mark the host was very nice and very helpful! Highly recommend especially for the photographs at sunset.

Hipcamper Casey

This is a cool campsite, nice people, but it isn't great if the weather calls for a chance of rain. It is very far off the main road which makes it very private, but that is also a little unnerving, particularly if you don't have a 4-wheel, off-roading car.

Hipcamper Dorian

If you're going to the remote campsite - which is beautiful - I highly recommend that you have an off-road vehicle.

Hipcamper Keegan

The best, most remote, backcountry camping experience of our whole trip, and there's no hiking involved. The stargazing, the unique terrain, and the views were all incredible. Definitely take detailed notes as you take the back roads out to the site as you'll need them to find your way back.
