Spacious, flat campsites in the desert, accurately described in the listing. Co-host Vicki met me in Wilcox to guide me to the ranch, and friendly owner John checked in on me the next day. There is a new composting outhouse near the campsites. But the water spigot is several hundred yards away, so have means to store water at your site.

100 acres of peaceful privacy, if you're looking for private camping then this is the spot. We did have some rain but overall great time the night we spent there was beautiful and bright. We're definitely going back for more. John and his help J were very friendly and great host.

Out here for our 3 year old birthday, she loves the outdoors We all actually got a nap in.

Followed the directions but never found anything to indicate that there was a campground, nor maps or directions as per the hosts site. Called, left a voice message and sent a text to get help from the host and he never replied. Still haven’t heard from him and had to find a new location to stay.

Our stay was much better than we expected!! The site was very secluded and away from any traffic while also having a Safeway no more than 20 minutes away. We were able to see the Milky Way. The management could not have been any more helpful, showing us turn by turn how to get to the site, and even offering supplies that we might need. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We arrived at night and he met us to lead us in to the site. We had a fire pit and a picnic table. We are tent campers and slept great. The land was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect stop for our long road trip.

I was more than impressed with this campsite and Vic, the ranch hand who was on site. The campsite is in a conveniently located area (near a town but far enough away that you feel connected to nature), with the campsites all being well spaced out. The outhouse was clean and well maintained. This was exactly what I needed.

What impressed me the most was Vic. I arrived once it was dark, and while the GPS location would have brought me straight to the campground, he met me and had me follow him in his truck to make sure I didn't get lost. While I was hiking the following day, he reached out to tell me that my rain fly had come off my tent but he had secured it. Later, he reached out again saying that if it rained, he would make sure to put a tarp over my tent. When I got back to the campsite, my tent was unfortunately broken due to extremely high winds, but I saw that Vic had used his own extra stakes as well as some heavy rocks to keep the tent from blowing away. He saw that I got back to the campsite and came over to see if I needed any help with my tent and wanted to make sure I was ok. He even seemed apologetic and said he normally would not go to someone's campsite during their stay, but he didn't want anything to happen to my tent. Overall, I was blown away by his attentiveness and kindness - I'm certain that if he had not helped out the way he did, I would have come back to either a completely missing tent, or a tent with parts of it missing. I'm grateful for the way that he acted and would absolutely recommend this campsite

John and his right hand man Vic were excellent hosts. You could not ask for more helpful and friendly hosts . Vic escorted us in after a quick phone call.He was there in five minutes. This is a very good dry camping site. There were other campers in the campground but you could not see or hear them. It is a place close to town but felt like you had the world to yourselves. Would most definitely stay again!
