My stay with Julie and Peter was so pleasant. I pitched my tent on a concrete pad in their back parcel. There was another camper there who had his RV fully connected to their utilities. Quickly upon arrival, I was given a grill and charcoal to use, a WiFi password, directions to their swimming pool, and an invitation to dinner with them.
The mountain views from their land are gorgeous and there are many details on their property that make it such a delight to be around. I went to see the horses as Julie gave them their feed and heard all of their histories.
Their property has a rural feel, but is just out of town - a 20 minute drive from downtown Tucson. After dinner I even went into Tucson to see a friend, and then came back to sleep. Was a nice option to have.

What a great place to spend some time. Julie and Mark were great and I got to meet some of the horses. I don't own a horse but they are beautiful animals with personality. La Hacienda was quiet and relaxing. There are stores near by and it is secluded among the trees. I would truly recommend this spot . Thank you Julie and Mark.
