Quite possibly the holy grail of angling in the Kaibab National Forest, White Horse Lake Campground sits alongside the comely shores of the area’s namesake lake, well-stocked by the likes of rainbow trout and resident bass. Even if you’re not too savvy with a rod-’n’-reel, White Horse Lake Campground also sits just a stray lace from numerous trailheads and other recreational outlets. The campground offers numerous accessible campsites, appealing to both tent and RV lovers alike!

We camped here in June, Site 53, which we Thought we were Lucky to get as it is Right on the lake. Turns out that the wind comes Roaring Dow the lake, right through that site, which is quite exposed! It as So Windy we couldn't sit outside at all- Very Frustrating!! The Campground itself is Extremely Beautiful & quiet, with sites widely spaced but mostly back among the pines & spruces. The lake itself is really nice, but as for fishing, we didn't see ANY FISH CAUGHT in the 5 days we were there? Must be it hadn't been stocked lately. Otherwise a Very Nice & Isolated camp ground...
