We offer various camping accommodations, as well as a teepee. See our different listings for info on each. A few choice examples of local activities to do on or very near to our campsite include: Bird watching, hiking, river rafting or tubing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, stargazing, and even rockhounding. This area conforms to the Arizona Dark Sky initiative, and while we are not dark-sky certified, we've had several guests compliment us on our location. When it comes to rockhounding, or amateur geology, this is a fantastic area for exploration and study.  The cliff walls of the Verde River offer clear and distinct sedimentary layers, and the frequent flooding of the massive sandy riverbed reveals countless undiscovered treasures. We gladly welcome pets, including horses, as long as the guests inform us of their presence, and takes care of all their needs, including cleaning up any mess. There is a professional horse-boarding field and stables adjacent to our property, and a long pleasant trail allows horseback riders to follow the Verde Greenway into Old Town Cottonwood if they so desire. Please remember that this is a natural and secluded spot located directly adjacent to the state-maintained Verde Ripparian Greenway and the Verde River. This means you may encounter wildlife and pests associated with being in such close connection to nature. Be prepared to tuck your food away and bring ample protection from the insects.

Lone Cottonwood (Site #2)
Beautiful Camping, Lovely Birds
Staying here was lovely! Stayed in late March so it was cold at night, but so many beautiful birds to wake up to in the morning being so close to the marsh. The directions were easy to follow and I found the place without a problem. Felt like a true campground, with a few other sites making fires and enjoying their stay. Everyone kept to themselves and was respectful and quiet. (Sites are also spaced out enough that talking or music from other sites wasn’t an issue at all.) Cottonwood is a really nice town, and a nice 25 min drive from Sedona hiking made for a peaceful, removed stay. Go check out Old Town Cottonwood, grab a craft beer at the Copper Jackalope, and visit Tuzigoot Natl Monument while you’re here to learn more about the area!

Cluster of Trees (Site #4)
Great place to stop for a night or two in the Cottonwood/Sedona area...a lot of things to do within a short drive. Host was friendly and the campsite was clean.

Circle of Trees (Site #3)
It is a bit difficult to find at night but Vicky has lots of signs to help find the way. Great, affordable way to camp. Big open lot, a 2 minute drive to Old Cottontown, which has lots to do, and very close to other attraction spots like Jerome and Sedona. Would stay here again

Riverwalk Site #7
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The campsite was spacious, fairly level, and not too close to other ones. We were able to drive the travel trailer around the tree to find the perfect spot. The kids loved exploring and playing on the sandbanks by the river, they even found some shells.

Quiet, good location.
Plenty of room for our camper van. Other guests were quiet and we had a beautiful view of the stars. Porta potties were clean. Happy to be able to book last minute.
