I couldn't be happier that the path lead us to Greenleaf Campground.
The land parks itself so perfectly under the endless, incomparable stretch of sky that hovers across the canyon. And you have room for everything; no view or thought or breath or shooting star has walls here.
We pulled into Greenleaf, one SUV and one Harley Davidson, two wild minded wide eyed travelers who have seen a lot of miles and had seen a number more that day on our ride in from Santa Fe. Both drifters, both outdoor folk who live the majority of the year on the road... We don't need for much but within that are in pursuit of the genuine and golden hearted.

And we found that in Greenleaf and our host Jamie.
And we fell into that night fondly.
And we fell into the next the same... we stayed an additional night to take in all that this incredible place has to offer.
Jamie and Murphy were wonderful. From the first moment we pulled in and were met with nothing but ease upon arrival- we knew quickly that they were friends. Comfortable, accommodating, and easy, great reads of space and absolutely professional -this campground is run impeccably and is an absolute treat to visit.
I will absolutely be back on any swing across the Southwest.

Thank you Jamie for making the stay so special. It is a total pleasure to know you and to have experienced your space.
Until the paths cross.

One of my best experiences camping so far :)
Just make sure you know your way to the camping and don't trust your GPS.
The vibe of the camping is amazing, the owner was super nice since the beginning and he is able to help you with any problem you may have. If you like nature, peace and a beautiful landscape (the view at night is breathtaking) I would recommend this campsite !

Green Leaf Canyon was a really great place to stay. There is a great view of mountains in the distance and the location is conveniently close to the Grand Canyon. Jamie was a great host for us. He has put in a lot of work to making the campsite convenient for campers. The sites are filled with sand which makes set up quick and easy. Upon arrival Jamie went out of his way to improve our stay. He loaned us items we were in need of and was a friendly guy from the moment we met him. The only recommendation we would make is to remove the poles from your tent during the day due to extreme wind. The wind can be damaging to tents. We would stay here again and recommend it highly.

Our stay at Green Leaf Canyon was convenient and just what we were looking for. The host, Jamie is incredibly accommodating and helpful. The grounds are easy to find on Google Maps and have a 360 degree view of surrounding land and open skies - perfect for picturesque sunrise and sunsets. It is a mere 26 minute drive to the Grand Canyon, and we didn't hit any traffic. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and will definitely recommend to our friends as well.

Great spot. Doesn't have much shelter from the elements as it is on a plain. The road in is a little rough so drive slow especially when you cross the cattleguard. The entrance to the Grand Canyon is a quick 20-30 minute drive depending on the traffic. Keep it up.
