We were with our 2 adult sons and had plenty of space and beds in the largest tent yurt. Pros: easy to find, pretty land with juniper type shrubs nice view and lots of wildlife. The absolute most amazing night sky! We didn’t get to do a yoga class but the yoga deck is in a gorgeous spot. Dogs are allowed. Cons: did not know there would be tent campers close to us and I had to get up at 11pm to ask some to be quiet, the ground here is fine dirt so our feet, clothes and dogs got filthy, everything is on a hillside including the platform the tent is on so it’s not level. My family was not bothered by any of this but for me it made the price seem high. I believe it’s a work in progress though as Zach works on the place. Overall a lovely stay.
Such a well cared for and fun spot! We had fun exploring on and off the property. Our host was very helpful and hospitable-Jax the puppy was an exciting addition to our experience. In cooler weather, we will definitely return!
Zach & Carrie were fantastic hosts, easy to communicate with and super gracious and helpful.
The campsite is on a beautiful green mountainside, very private but easily accessible and with amazing views. The tent was spacious and comfortable and our family of 4 had plenty of room. It gets cold at night but there are lots of blankets to make it cozy. Zach also had firewood ready and we made a lovely campfire before going to bed.
This is a real gem of a place and I would love to come visit again!
Lovely spot in a great location!
The yurt was amazing and Zach & Carrie were the perfect hosts! super helpful in terms of recommendations and checking in to see if I needed anything to make my stay better. The bed was so comfortable, yurt was so roomy and spacious, and the platform deck was great to hang out on. The land is beautiful, with a sprawling view of the valley, amazing sunsets/sunrises and so many stars at night. Also a short drive away from Grand Canyon & Sedona. And the town of Williams is so cute too. Just a perfect piece of land in a great area with such friendly hosts. Thanks again and I hope to be back!!
This was such a magical place to stay. Carrie's brother Tim was my host and he was very welcoming and helpful. This tent is one of a few on the site but perfectly secluded and private. For any solo travelers, I felt completely safe. I enjoyed every minute spent here and can't wait to return with some friends.
Zach was very helpful from directions getting there to cooking an amazing breakfast in the morning! The yurt itself had everything we needed and was very well kept. At night, the stars were some of the best we’ve seen! This glamping setup is perfect for anyone looking to experience outdoor living near living near the Grand Canyon.
The Yurt experience was really amazing! The camp also had a composting toilet and shower. The place was quiet and private - many trees around. There was a yoga hut as well. The yurt got a bit cold at night and very warm during the day (we stayed there end of September), so bring extra blankets if you wish. The stars were pretty visible as well. Zach was a very accommodating host, bringing potable water when we ran out and offering another wifi option. If you are hoping to work remotely there, the internet was not good enough to take video calls, I had to go to a coffeeshop in Williams for that.
An exceptionally beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Host was kind and accommodating, even helped us move our car when it was stuck. Waking up there felt really good. An overall happy and enjoyable experience.
