Great place but not quite glamping
I really enjoyed this spot. It was central to Grand Canyon (South Rim), private, Yurt was super comfortable! We did expect more of a shower. I don’t mind rain bags but the shower was an unbalanced pallet with a plastic tray that was dangerous. The toilet was also unbalanced and difficult to use. Love the place and would go back but don’t feel it was actually glamping.
Wonderful eco glamping experience!
We would absolutely recommend Carrie & Zach’s place to anyone visiting the Grand Canyon area! The property had amazing views, was well kept, eco-friendly and peaceful. The yurt we stayed in was very comfortable, clean, and fit out with what we needed and more. They were wonderfully generous hosts and the extras provided were well worth the money; delicious homemade brekky, a private yoga class and a biking adventure! Thank you so much Carrie & Zach!
Wonderful oasis in the desert.
Zach was awesome! The Yurt was cool and we can't wait to plan another trip to their property. Zach was a wonderful host and the food fantastic. We had a buddah bowl for dinner and smoothe bowls for breakfast.
I would recommend bringing warmer clothes in october or fall as it can get quite chilly at night.
My kids said “best camping ever!”
Absolutely one of the best stays we’ve ever had! Zach & Carrie we’re responsive before we even booked, all the way thru the end of our stay when they made us a delicious breakfast at 7am so we could be on our way. The directions were very helpful, the location was easy to find and easy to get to. The view was beautiful, the site was adorable and perfect. Tent/yurt was spacious, with a little deck even, and plenty of extras were provided to make it so incredibly comfortable. Our 4 and 12 year old thought it was the coolest place we’ve ever camped (and we’ve camped lots of places!). The camp-style shower was private and the water had been warmed by late in the day so it was refreshing and enjoyable. Would highly recommend it and would definitely go back.
Endless stars. Stunning sunrises/ sunsets. Late night camp fires. Delicious coffee and breakfast served. Good quality mattress/sheets/ pillows/ blankets. Sunrise yoga. Endless amazing recommendations for hikes and fun. Zach and Carrie make the experience top notch. We will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful stay! We booked in last minute for two nights to see the Grand Canyon. Zach and Carrie responded very quickly and helpfully.
The Camp was easy to find, Zach was very friendly and gave us all the advice we needed. The yurt was very comfortable and had plenty of extra blankets for colder nights. We completely enjoyed our stay and would love to return. The stargazing in the evening is especially incredible!
Rocky road entry
Cozy spot, decent access to the Grand Canyon! Showers are not as private as pictured and road up to the site was rocky!!! Scrapped the bottom of our car. Hosts were kind. We just didn’t plan the best and therefore didn’t get the most out of our experience- i.e. yoga & meals & lack of fire ability (even though they had options to buy firewood).
Fantastic experience!! The yurt was clean and roomy. Tons of stars at night and quiet for sleep. Close to Williams to get food, which is a cute town and an easy drive to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Would definitely stay here again! Mary
