The heater keeps it nice and toasty on those cold winter nights. When the weather warms up, opening up a window for a cool breeze is always soothing.

Our private lake is closed to the public and is only available to our guests. With catfish, and bass you are sure to catch a fish or two. Catch and release only please, no swimming, no watercraft. When you're not fishing you can enjoy wildlife that surrounds the lake, be it deer, squirrels, or the many different birds that frequent it.
We have a designated outside fireplace where you can enjoy a warm cup of hot cocoa, or gaze at the night sky while breathing in the fresh cool air from pines that surround us.
We recommend bringing a hammock as there are endless spots available to lay and relax in the calm forest.

Camping at Friendly Pines brings back all the sentimental vibes about going to summer camp as a kid. Their cabins have bunks with thick comfy pads on them (bring a sleeping bag/pillow/towel/toiletries) and private bathrooms with showers (score!), as well as working outlets to recharge your electronics. The cabins are even heated for the chillier nights! As the name would imply, the staff is beyond friendly. They had about 30 horses while we were there (inquire about riding/interacting with them), tons of deer roaming around all through the day, a small, quiet lake, a treehouse, a jungle gym, disc golf baskets, fire pits that could host larger groups, and even an awesome outdoor fireplace (the list goes on!). Exploring the property was amazing, you won't be bored here for a second :)

Friendly Pines Camp was perfect for our first family “camping” trip. Jonathan was very accommodating. Friendly Pines provided firewood and water, the cabin we stayed in had heat, running water and decently comfy bunks. On 100+ acres there’s something new to see everyday of your trip. My family and I 100% recommended and will be back ourselves!

Thanks Duane! We hope to welcome you back again soon!
Loved our stay in the cabin! We made food, walked in the woods, slept peacefully and saw deer in the morning. Super close to Prescott but feels like you’re in the middle of the first. Bring bedding, toiletries and any basic cooking supplies if you want to cook. Firewood was provided. Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed your time at camp. Please visit us again soon!
This place was perfect for our family. They gave us a very spacious cabin and free range to roam the grounds. Our son loved running around and seeing all the animals. He even made a friend with one of their horses. Stever and Tyler were great at checking in with us and making our stay extra special. Would definitely recommend for a private getaway or even family events.

Thank you for the positive review. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to host your family. We hope to see you back soon!
This was our first time camping this way. The staff was very courteous and helpful. It is however a good idea to ask a lot of questions if you book last minute as all the activities such as horseback riding, archery etc have to be booked well ahead of time. There are other fun activities to do nearby. So overall this is a great place to get away from every day life.

Thank you for the kind words Gerardo. We can't wait to welcome your family back another time!
This camp completely lived up to its name! Each and every person we ran into was so friendly! Big shout out to Jonathan and Tyler for taking us on a hike to the lake! They loaned us a grill, pots and pans and utensils, chairs, a volleyball, fishing poles, and they set up a super fun horseback excursion for our sons! We will definitely be coming back! The boys loved every minute of our stay!
We were there 2 days and 2 nights and this is what the boys were to able to accomplish - they played soccer, tennis, basketball, volleyball, tether ball, they hiked, built a campfire and made s’mores, and went horse back riding!! And there are so many more activities to do at this camp! We highly recommend The Friendly Pines Camp!!

Lynnette we thoroughly enjoyed hosting your family. Come visit soon!
Friendly Pines was a great experience. We stayed during a weekend it rained but found ourselves enjoying the lodging even more.

Hi Austin. Thanks for your positive review! We hope to see you again!
So fun! There were a group of four families and we had all booked individual cabins. Jonathan was wonderful and offered us the large house and I am so glad we accepted. He was also very responsive to questions. There was plenty of room for the kids to play inside and it was great having a neutral space for the moms. There were 15 of us total, 4 adults and 11 kids. Having the kitchen was extremely helpful for meal prep.
The grounds were great and all the kids had fun exploring. There were some geocaches on site and we spent a day hiking and finding those. It snowed the second day we were there and the roads were plowed which made getting out easy. I would highly recommend friendly pines camp and I could easily see us returning for another moms and kids weekend.

We are thrilled to hear your feedback! Glad to hear you all thoroughly enjoyed your time at camp! Be back soon please!
Stayed in the log cabin and it accommodated our group of four families nicely. We enjoyed hiking nearby and saw a lot of deer. The camp staff were very friendly and made sure we had plenty of firewood for our campfires and fireplace. They went above and beyond helping us get our vehicles out after a snowfall. We will definitely return to camp (aka getaway in a log cabin) next year!

We hope to welcome your group back soon! Glad you enjoyed your stay!
