Charging stations utilize solar energy so there is no disturbing noise. Campers are provided with radios for communication within the canyon. This is wilderness style camping with no light or noise pollution. There are elk, mountain lions, jack rabbits and many other wild animals frequenting the land. Guided tours can also be arranged.

Staying here was an experience I will never forget, it is so beautiful, never bored with so much to view and I've never seen so many hummingbirds. Made me feel like I had gone back in time to the old west. I plan on returning often.
About an hour of some waahboard road (22.5 mi off maim road) to an exquisitely quiet and serene vista. Loved the silence and Donald is such a thoughtful and kind soul. Told him he should charge for the escort service from main road to camp! GPS not reliable at main road juncture. So happy I got to experience this gift from the host to us! Solo traveler and felt totally safe. Big thank you!
My friend and I had an amazing experience. The hosts were amazing people - truly some of the kindest out there!
It was extremely secluded. A good 40 min. drive down a (rough) dirt road, but they literally escorted us all the way + back again. Just wow!
We had absolutely no connection out there, so be prepared to be off the grid. But no worries - we never felt safer with such nice hosts.

Donald and his wife were an absolute pleasure. They brought their goats over to show and play with my toddler- she was in heaven. Donald is a wealth of knowledge and he showed us how to find crystals and other artifacts. Very remote but we made it in a 32ft RV. They will come escort you from 191. No bells. It’s perfect. The star gazing was exceptional- best we have ever seen (and we are extremely well-traveled!). We would definitely come back.
