Take your family and your dogs camping in the wilderness and howl at the moon. Make some unique and fun memories with your dogs and your children. At Koko Dog Ranch, the sky is so clear and bright with tons of stars and the moon just begging for a howl. This scenic High-Country Wilderness Ranch in Northeastern Arizona that is still home to free roaming herds of elk, deer, and antelope. Jack Rabbits and other wild animals dart throughout the camping area and also on the roads. This part of Arizona being "Open Range" country, you will also get the occasional visits (and droppings) from cattle, horses, and burros. Your dogs can be off-leash and you don't need to clean-up after them. Please be responsible for the safety of your dogs. The Jack Rabbits are huge!
This area is part of the old Wild West. The Ranch remains in pristine natural conditions with well-maintained Access Roads and our Koko Dog Ranch Boondocking RV Camp melds with the vast landscape. The area has a rich history of Native American (Apache, Navajo, Zuni, etc.) culture. Ranchers in the area have found Anasazi Indian artifacts (pottery shards, spear points, and arrowheads, etc. from Anasazi settlements over 1,000 years ago).
Our RV Boondocking Dog Ranch is located in NorthEast Arizona's High-Country (6000+ elevation) and close to New Mexico Border near Highway 40 and Highway 191 in Apache County near Saint Johns. Camp Koko Dog Ranch is located in an area that is sunny, cool, and dry most of the year and is perfect for RV Boondocking and camping with your family and dogs. There are plenty of frisbees, balls, hiking trails, running tracks, Jack Rabbits, and other fun items for your dogs.
