Nature's planetarium... On clear nights, sleep under a view of the Milky Way and expansive stars! Awaken in the morning to the local songbirds. Bring a camera, as the sunsets are beyond words. The 2.2 acre property has plenty of Juniper and Pinon trees. Over 1 acre is dedicated to our campsites only. We are family friendly, so kids are no problem.  We have many mini-farm friends here. We provide a showing of the animals in our FREE petting zoo upon request (Petting zoo is located in between our living acre and our acre for campsites, so they won't be TOO close ! Donations are accepted and will go towards animal upkeep and winter enclosures. We have a lot of friendly rabbits, chickens, an iguana, chameleon, kittens, and a potbelly pig named "Bebop"!)

We are "pet friendly" as long as your pets are! (Tie outs and/or leashes required when outside of tent or trailer)

Our campsites are "primitive", much like most National Forest sites in the area. However, we do provide an outdoor composting toilet. We also have stone fire pits which can be used for cooking or just for the ambiance.

You can pick up last minute foods and drinks at the local Valle Travel Stop located 4.5 miles away.

Please notify us at least a half an hour before arrival time if possible.

NOTE: Due to the majority of our guests coming and going to the canyon early in the morning, our latest check in time is 8:00 PM. Please be courteous of our other campers and keep "quiet hours" 9pm-7am. Thanks!

Our stay here was fantastic! We were met at the entrance, and given a tour of the campground. A fire pit and a toilet are provided, and the hosts are so welcoming, offering us whatever we needed. The sky here is the most incredible I have ever seen, would stay here again 110%.

Andrew and Suzanne are a nice couple and they have a nice family. The place coudn’t Be more quiet ! You don’t have anyone around. During the night it’s even beautiful. You can see the Milky Way ! We felt safe during the night (I was travelling with my mum).
I definitely recommend to stay there. :)
Thanks a lot for your hospitality :)

Suzanne was super helpful being in contact and helping us find the site. It is totally in the middle of nowhere, which was perfect! Lots of space, quiet. There was a bit of trash/miscellaneous items at the site but it wasn't a big deal. We had an awesome night!

This private ground was absolutely terrific. The owners of the property were staying on the land during my stay, and they were beyond generous with accomodations, making sure I was living comfortably throughout my stay. The cleanliness of the property really accentuated the natural beauty of the area. I was offered a buddy heater for my tent, and a bluetooth speaker to listen to music. It's only 30 miles from the Grand Canyon, so it's a great value for proximity alone. A comfortable, safe, and serene stay, from beginning to end. I can't recommend this campground highly enough.

This campsite was wonderful~ remote and quiet, yet reasonably close to Grand Canyon, Williams and Flagstaff. The hosts were very nice and helpful. It was cold and windy during my stay but didn’t cause me any concerns. Although rugged, I was able to easily navigate my 18 ft trailer to the property (dirt road) and into my site. I would highly recommend arriving in daylight... it is truly very dark on a moonless night “)

I could not have been happier with this site! Suzanne and her family were wonderful and the site was BEAUTIFUL! They take such pride in their land and made the camp sites so nice- private set up, great fire pit with log seats, hummingbird feeders (we had breakfast with the hummingbirds every morning). I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay while visiting the Grand Canyon area (it’s a short 30-40 minute drive to the park) We actually spent one night in the national park- this site was better. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed here 2 nights in an RV as a base for our Grand Canyon visit, which was an easy 30 min drive away. Although the campsite is quite basic it has some nice touches - fairy lights, fire pit and nicely kept long-drop toilet. Suzanne and her family were very welcoming hosts who were happy to chat on phone as we arrived to help us locate the site. We loved the fresh eggs from their chickens! Amazing sunsets, stars and so cool to hear and see all the hummingbirds around the campsite. I would defiantly recommend.

The campsite is a very relaxing place with a great view of the mountains, but what really made the stay here amazing were the hosts. Some of the friendliest people I’ve met.
