Morning Zen is a sweet funky spot right up against Saguaro National Monument. It'd be a great base camp to explore the area and is super close to Tucson. Dale is a very friendly thoughtful Host and I enjoyed talking to him. The property has several RV spots with hookups and a few spaces for tents nestled into the cacti. There's cacti here of all kinds so this is a really great spot for someone who adores cacti, like me, so be prepared for desert life if you tent camping. Keep in mind there are people living here and camping here so you won't be alone, but there's a nice community vibe to the place. There's also a covered flush toilet, sink with running water, and shower in a little outhouse in the center of the property. There are amazing skies here- sunset and sunrise are amazing and it's fun to walk around and admire all the giant cacti! Thanks Dale!

Here's the bathhouse with flush toilet, shower, and sink. Human for scale. Check out these giant cacti! Tent view: huge variety of cacti! Dale's property has a huge variety of cacti which I really enjoyed, even if I did get a few prickers now and then!

This camp spot is tucked away in a friendly neighborhood that borders the western portion of Saguaro National Park. It's a great basecamp for adventures, just 15-30 minutes away from the Sonoran Desert Museum and trailheads like King Canyon and Safford Peak. Several species of native cacti abound, and I heard coyote howls and an array of songbird calls, making this space feel more like an oasis.

Dale was a gracious and friendly host. Although there are a few camp and RV sites, all of which share an outdoor bathroom and yard space, the camp spot still felt private. I'd recommend this site, but also advise that you pack earplugs in case the nearby road has some night traffic.

It was a very awesome place to camp. There was plenty of space, and everyone was kind! There were a couple of RVers there, but the site was still quiet and plenty of privacy. Amazing place to stay if you are passing through Tucson.

Outstanding place to camp, we stayed 3 nights, it’s close to cool Tuscon attractions, but far enough away to get the Tuscon camping experience. The spot is surrounded by plants, wildlife, and amazing scenery. The camp site was chill, we were able to setup our tents and have a fire in a mostly secluded space toward the back of the property. Dale was very helpful and quick to reply to any questions we had. Clean water and bathroom with shower on site. We loved the property, definitely plan stay here when we return to the Tucson area.

Very cool vibe. Dale was great, helped us pick a site. Great pads for tents, soft dirt, and all kinds of great little features. Nextvtime i have to try the sweat lodge. Running well water and a shower, flush toilet. And room for a nice campfire.

Really enjoyed it. Very calm and peaceful (except for the odd coyote). Really well situated for the Saguaro Parks, Tombstone and Organ Pipe. Didn’t try the cold showers but will be great when Dale installs a hot one.
