We have built Norwegian cabins for folks who need some quiet times in the woods. We built a common area with a fire pit, common kitchen and library, we have games available, and during summer, can organize hikes, foraging classes, archery, etc. We attended constantly growing and adding cabins. This place is mainly for people who want solitude, or spend time with family. The Iron Horse Trail is here minutes away to use for horses, ATV's or just a lovely hike! 300 km of glorious trail. There are swimming lakes minutes away, and if you don't want a cabin, maybe you just want a serene place to tent. You are welcome to do so!

Janet & Dan were amazing hosts! They had great electronic communication before I arrived and the directions were precise! They came and met me at the gate and got me set up. The cabin was amazing and cozy and included a bio fuel stove and everything I would need for cooking, even water. The bed was exceptionally comfy, I don’t know why we don’t all use sheepskin on top of our mattresses to sleep on all the time, but I’ll definitely be looking into it! The compost outhouse was the nicest outhouse I’ve ever used, and I’ve actually used a lot. They had a group fire and sang songs in the evening! This was truly an exceptional experience. The no trace, environmental camping was idyllic. I would strongly recommend and will be returning!
