Description

Winstanley Island Cabin Site Lookout is a good launching-off point for the incredible local scenery: Rudyerd Bay, Walker Cove, Chickamin River, Smeaton Bay, and the Behm Canal, all within an easy boating distance from the cabin. Access to this Alaskan wonderland is do-able by floatplane or boat, about 30 air miles east of Ketchikan. The views are gorgeous from inside this rustic 12’ x 14’ cabin, but it’s the rocky tidal zones, dense forests, endless crabbing and salmon fishing, and the entirety of Winstanley Island that will keep you exploring the great outdoors!
