Description

You’ll soon discover that the Sarkar Lake Cabin Site Lookout is a seemingly magical forest experience, as the cedar log cabin with large covered porch is tucked into a secluded portion of the wilderness on Sarkar Lake. The surrounding scenery transports you to a temperate rain forest, and the sounds of birds outside your door will have your spirits singing along. This area has a rich cultural history that you’ll feel in the soil, or go hop onto the river to find your favorite tree spirit. Feeling adventurous? The Sarkar Canoe Route begins at Sarkar Lake and goes 15 miles into backcountry. There are a lot of rocks in the lake, so if you're out boating we recommend a good marine chart! Have a blast, we know you'll love it.
