The shoreline is surrounded by a dense temperate rainforest of old-growth spruce and hemlock trees. If you’re lucky, you might catch sightings of brown bear and humpback whales. There are lots of options for fishing nearby—cast a line in the nearby streams for dolly varden and rainbow trout, or head to the bay for halibut and rockfish. You’ll find furniture and a stove for heat in the cabin, but make sure to bring along water, sleeping bags, toilet paper, and other basics!
