Description

Take me to church. That is, Church Bight Cabin on Admiralty Island! The rustic cabin is just steps from Church Bight—a small, tidal saltwater cove in Gambier Bay. The shoreline is surrounded by a dense temperate rainforest of old-growth spruce and hemlock trees. If you’re lucky, you might catch sightings of brown bear and humpback whales. There are lots of options for fishing nearby—cast a line in the nearby streams for dolly varden and rainbow trout, or head to the bay for halibut and rockfish. You’ll find furniture and a stove for heat in the cabin, but make sure to bring along water, sleeping bags, toilet paper, and other basics!
