Description

At the southwest side of the bay on Revillagigedo Island is Alava Bay Cabin. This secluded haven is accessible by floatplane, boat, or kayak and is open year-round for relaxation, sightseeing and recreational opportunities. Backed by old-growth rainforest and a nearby rocky beach, the landscape includes gentle slopes and dense forest with views over the bay. The cabin itself measures 12’ x 14’ with two single and two double bunks. Firewood is provided, but you’ll want to pack water, lighting, sleeping gear, cooking gear, toilet paper, garbage bags, a fire extinguisher and fire starter. Remember to pack out so the next group can enjoy the space as much as you did.
