Question Lake is quiet. We live in a neighborhood and expect everyone who comes to stay to be neighborly and thoroughly enjoy what this peaceful place has to offer. The resident loons will be singing at all hours, often coming right into the cove. There are moose in the area, and there may be bears, too. We request that your food and trash be stored properly.

We stayed in June and the mosquitoes made it an experience we won’t forget. Host was upfront about this and the burn ban.
What a hidden gem this place was.... totally private lakeview spots for our tents on the beautiful deck. We enjoyed the riendly host, Mac and his lovely dogs.... A place I certainly will come back to !!!
Had a great time camping at this spot. The area was quiet and secluded. The lake was amazing and peaceful, like you had the place to yourself. The host was super nice and friendly along with his dogs. The one thing I may have missed when I booked the reservation and did not expect was this was at someone's home, not an actual campground, so that was differen. The plus side was no crowds of people, he had a bathroom for use and not an outhouse, which made my experience even better. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful access to quiet private lake With fishing and kayaking (bring your own equipment), swimming for the brave (cool water). Great deck to camp/sit on with lounge chairs provided. Host plans to build a dock to improve access to lake, as currently you do need to step in the knee-deep water to launch boat. Picnic table is a bit wobbly but provides a place to eat by the lake. Hosts’ house is up the hill from lake, and they allowed use of a bathroom through the arctic entry, and Clorox cleaning wipes were accessible in the bathroom. My dog had fun playing with their 2 dogs. Highlight of trip was a morning kayak across the lake, watching the lake loon, with the tips of Denali/foraker peeking up over the trees.
A quiet and private place with a wonderful view. Feels like being on a private lake. Beautiful loons' song at night. A neighbor's dog volunteered as my bodyguard, since my dogs refused sleeping in the tent.
Mosquitoes weren't bad with lotions and thermacell. I slept outside one night without any bites.
