Learn more about this land: The RV Pad overlooks the Kachamak Bay and Kenai mountains. There are several different glaciers within the view. The Pad is situated on an alpine meadow with various spring wildflowers. (Please be kind to the wildflower meadows). Eveline State park is across the road and is a beautiful trail for hiking, skiing, and snow shoeing. Homer is 12 miles down the hill and has quaint shops and eateries in town and on the Homer Spit. There are boat taxis available in town for hiking across the bay. In addition, Homer is the "Halibut Capital of the World" and several different kinds of charters are available (Including spearfish diving).This unique RV spot is 12 miles out of Homer, across from the Eveline Trail entrance. Nice spot ! The view is beautiful and the host are welcoming. Not too far from Homer if you want to avoid the RV Park it’s a good choice !

Glacier Vista RV Pad

This is a quiet and beautiful spot with lots of privacy,, easy to find and hosted by true Alaskans. I was graciously greeted with the most delicious rhubarb pie of the summer and enjoyed a safe and peaceful night sleep. Many thanks to Pete and Lenore for my last minute booking!
